It’s the first day of the last month of the year

and I should be in bed asleep.

But since I couldn’t sleep I got up to surf the net. But instead of surfing the net, I worked on a paper I am writing for work. I got through a total of 1/3 of the pages I am supposed to be taking notes on now. That’s about 15 more pages than I had done when I got up at 11 pm. But I also went back in and added two more topics, so the paper will be better whenever I get around to writing it.

Of course, since it is due Jan. 1, I kind of need to get around to writing it soon.

I figure it will take me three more days to take all the notes, but it may not. However with everything I have to do for my family and my job, it probably will. After that I figure I will have four days to write a rough draft (or a series of those) and then I will dash it off to my dad to have him check it for interest and readability.

That will put me at the 8th. At that point I will hopefully have started work on paper number 2, which is also due January 1, but is considerably longer.

Why not do that one first, you ask? Well, because I am not sure of the parameters of that one yet. I will be by Wednesday, but by then I hope to be deep in the bowels of this paper.

So, it’s the first day of the last month of the year, which is set to be my busiest month of the year so far.
