Books I’ve Read: The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

The book is probably on an Oprah list, it’s been so long since it was published and famous. But I just read it last week. Maybe this week.

I am not sure what I was expecting. What I found was a family history in a novel. It was like a mystery book in which the clues are revealed one by one. Finally, at the end, there is resolution and a happy ever after. I’m all for that.

I enjoyed the book a lot. Way more than I was expecting.

Oh yeah, and it’s about Louisiana. That’s probably why some of my friends read it.
